Enough about me, let’s talk about you for a while

I suspect I already know a fair bit about most of my lovely readers, given that if you comment here and blog yourself then I try to make sure I visit your little corner of the net too.

However, indulge me anyway (especially if you haven’t commented before!), say hello and tell me a little about yourself? Pretty please?

Feel free to ramble in any way you like, or if you prefer you could answer the following questions:

Who are you?
How did you find my blog?
What keeps you reading?
What, if anything, would you like to see more posts about?
Should I do a Christmas blog giveaway of a gift voucher for my shop?
What is your favourite colour?
What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?

  1. dammit, previewing the post meant I lost it.I'm me. Sarah Paine. aka AriadneFacebook – probably tablet weaving, but can't completely remember as memory like a sieve.the similarities between us. You're like an Australian "me" that blogs more :)Keep em coming, I like em all so far! If you want, but as I make all our handmade gifts usually, sorry it still won't make me buy (can still occasionally drool though!)Purple!African or European?

  2. Ooh, ooh, I'm a lovely reader!I am Chally! I found your blog through your commenting at Hoyden, I suspect. I keep reading because I like you, and I like hearing about your family/life, and because you have interesting things to say. You should blog about whatever you are inclined to, and also do the giveaway if you're inclined to. My favourite colour is blue because I find it both calming and strengthening. I have no idea regarding the last but this question sounds vaguely familiar?!?!You get a bonus ramble: I have new shoes, and they are very pretty! I got 19 books out of the library or something ridiculous like that, so I am a very happy lady. And, um, I really like your blog tagline, it makes me grin.

  3. @Sarah Yeah, definitely via tablet weaving in some way or other I'm sure πŸ™‚ @Chally The last question is a quote from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, every time I come across any series of questions I hear them in the character's voice in my head and simply have to append that one to the list. Actually, the favourite colour question is part of the quote too.@Ariane πŸ˜€

  4. I blame your parents πŸ˜‰ Now my kids, they can recite long passages of Monty Python at the drop of a hat. And do. Over and over and over again. What was I thinking when I showed them the dvds?!

  5. I am Pen, that is Penthe from Life or Books. I am a public servant and a parent and a bunch of other things. I don't remember how I found your blog, but it would've been through a feminist and/or parenting blog I think. I liked the name 'Mim'. I keep reading because you are so interesting! I like posts about vikings and crafts and family and thinking. I do not care about giveaways, except for enjoying hearing about the projects and things. I like your jewellery, but I rarely wear any myself. Favourite colour is green. What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow? – slower with a coconut.

  6. I'm just me :)You were the first person I ever met at the kids school and insisted on driving me home after I stupidly walked to clothing pool with the kids and was red as a beetroot. I liked you ever since πŸ™‚ I guess you told me about your blog and I read it. I like it, for many reasons, which I couldn't be bothered typing out right now, sorry!Purple42?

  7. I'm Mel aka Tuataragirl.A Kiwi intruder. Not sure how I found your blog. It was probably via a scrap booker or online book club.I still read it because you're fun, I say ah ha a lot when I read it and we both have a Caitlin. I think people who enjoy re-enactment stuff are strange but strange is good.Write about anything. Random is also good.Don't give anything away, you don't need the stress, though I am grateful for the earrings you sent last year!Face colour red. Or black. Or pink. Or orange. Depends what day it is.Re the swallow speed – how many decimal points do you want me to place it to?
