It’s getting there

No big changes in the kitchen but the electrician did come and hook up the oven. I’ve got a whole butternut pumpkin in there at the moment, cut up into little cubes and seasoned with garlic, nutmeg and paprika. Roast pumpkin and chorizo risotto tonight.

Some of the new internal doors have stain and varnish on them and some of the painted door jams have been stripped back ready for stain and varnish. There is much paint stripping, staining and varnishing still to do. All by Adam. In his spare time, you know.

      1. Excellent news! I am enjoying watching your progress. Although I find myself mentally re-arranging my kitchen, bathroom, laundry, bedroom…

  1. Mim,
It’s lovely. I love your ‘feature border thingy’ and the new front door is great. I can’t wait to visit (whenever that will be!) 🙂 I love your shoulder accessory, Samantha knows a good place when she sees it.

    1. Heh. Probably because I’ve barely written anything this year! Hoping to get back to regular blogging, perhaps once I’ve emerged from the renovations chaos.
